Just about everything you could ever want to accomplish as a parent is tied to the relationship you have with your child. Whether you want to encourage good behaviour and judgement, teach skills or pass on good values, you won’t get far if you and your child don’t feel a sense of connection.

You can always help your teenage kids dream better about their future. They have so much to learn, and as a parent or a guardian, it is your responsibility to make sure their dreams are on the right path and are achievable and reasonable.

It’s also important that we communicate our position that healthy families come in many forms. What is also true from research is that positive father involvement is essential.
Learning to be actively involved in play with your kids is an important part of being a dad. This blog features excerpts from our “Daddy, Come Play With Me” booklet to help dads understand their role in play and how they can build bonds with their kids through play all while helping them learn important skills.
