The May 12-13, 2021 conference theme is:

Celebrating the Diversity of Fatherhood

Do you have a unique fatherhood program?

Are you a researcher interested in engaging professionals who work with families?

Do you have critical child development resources that can support fathers being more active and involved in their children’s lives?

Or, do you simply have a passion for fatherhood and have unique professional experience to share with others?

If so, we’re looking to hear from you!

The 4th Canadian National Fatherhood Conference is inviting submissions for 6090 minute workshops.

The conference brings together a diverse range of professionals, researchers, and policy makers across Canada. Workshop proposals can serve any or all of these audiences.

  • Ways to support and encourage a diversity of male-caregiver roles such as grandfathers, step fathers, foster fathers and our military or work away dads
  • Research into understanding the needs of diverse fathers
  • Programming that supports fathers through a variety of ways, i.e. virtually, etc.
  • Mental health of the father, the family, and those around him
  • Innovative services or programs for diverse fathers

Submission Guidelines:

  • Workshops are welcome in both French and English (translation services not provided)
  • Although conference theme is diversity of fathers, proposals on other issues facing men as parents are accepted
