Leading up to Father’s Day, we invite all dads to show their pride in being a father by flooding social media with photos of themselves with their children!
For some time now we have noticed that fathers have a stronger desire than ever to engage fully in their parenting experience, but sometime feel unsure about expressing it loud and clear.
The #proudtobeadad challenge can make fathers very visible by associating them with positive, hopeful messages, directly addressing the greatest emotion that comes from their parental experience: pride.
To participate, it’s simple:
- Post a photo of you with your children (a selfie) in your social media networks.
- In your post, make sure you use the keyword: #proudtobeadad or #fierdetrepere
- Challenge a father around you to do the same
Let’s make this campaign a real move towards less stereotyped parenting, to the benefit of children, mothers, fathers, and society as a whole.
